About The Position

The IT Analyst supports and enhances the Bank’s technology environment by analyzing, maintaining, and improving information systems, applications, and data used across the organization. This role serves as a key link between technology operations and business users, ensuring systems are reliable, secure, and aligned with operational and regulatory requirements. The IT Analyst provides application and systems support, assists with technology enhancements and upgrades, supports data reporting and analysis, and contributes to risk management, security, and compliance activities. Working closely with the Information Technology department, vendors, and internal stakeholders, the IT Analyst helps identify issues, recommend solutions, and implement improvements that increase efficiency, support strategic goals, and deliver a positive experience for employees and customers. The IT Analyst will also play a key role in data analytics, leveraging data to uncover insights, support strategic planning, and measure project outcomes. This includes gathering and interpreting data from multiple sources, building dashboards or reports, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure data-driven decision-making is embedded in project execution and business analysis.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree in Information Systems or Data Analytics is preferred.
  • A minimum of three years experience with data reporting and analytics, computer support and administration, or a mix of the two.
  • A minimum of two years working in the banking or financial industry is preferred.
  • Experience with core banking systems is preferred.
  • Experience with M365 application suite is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze operational data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities.
  • Develop, maintain, and support operational reports, dashboards, and ad hoc data requests.
  • Support data extraction, reporting, and dashboards.
  • Ensure data accuracy and access controls.
  • Translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements for development and implementation teams.
  • Assist in identifying opportunities for automation, reporting efficiencies, and improved data usage
  • Support and maintain core banking systems and related applications.
  • Analyze system issues and coordinate resolution.
  • Assist with system upgrades and configuration changes.
  • Manage and support AI initiatives
  • Assist with IT risk assessments and audits.
  • Support access controls and compliance activities.
  • Lead new initiatives that align with organizational goals and drive process improvement.
  • Explore and evaluate AI applications to enhance efficiency and decision-making.
  • Pilot emerging technologies and assess their feasibility for broader adoption.
  • Facilitate user trainings for new or updated processes.
  • Provide IT support as needed.
  • Microsoft 365 administration and support.
  • Assist with system upgrades, patches, and testing, including validation of data outputs.
  • Maintain documentation related to systems, procedures, and reporting processes.
  • Support technology risk assessments, audits, and regulatory examinations as requested.
  • Participate in process improvement and automation initiatives, including improved use of data and reporting tools.
  • Other duties as assigned.
