Requirements

  • Technical Institute or Associate Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience/certifications).
  • 2+ years of IT support experience in a manufacturing or office environment preferred.
  • Strong understanding of PC hardware, LAN troubleshooting, and workstation software.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic networking.
  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks within assigned timeframes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Commitment to customer service and team collaboration.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of VMware, SQL Server, and Visual Basic (VB) a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain PC/LAN systems, software, cabling, and other related hardware.
  • Provide technical support for low to medium complexity issues, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
  • Monitor IT systems to identify and resolve potential issues proactively.
  • Participate in IT projects, including upgrades, system changes, and infrastructure initiatives.
  • Document and track incidents, service requests, and resolutions per IT standards.
  • Support assembly line downtime tracking and reporting.
  • Manage, track, and report on the plant 6S program.
  • Fulfill internal and external data requests as required.
  • Assist in the physical setup, maintenance, and relocation of IT hardware, including lifting equipment up to 50 lbs.
  • Track IT equipment and supply inventory; notify leadership when items reach reorder thresholds.
  • Collaborate with corporate IT and vendors to escalate and resolve complex issues.
  • Support and adhere to all Quality and Environmental Management System policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
