About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. The ISSO will be responsible for ensuring information systems comply with security policies, standards, and DoD requirements throughout the system lifecycle.

Requirements

• TS/SCI with Poly required
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience as an ISSO on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
• Experience in at least one of the following areas: Security tools and technologies Hardware and software security implementation Communication protocols Encryption techniques and tools
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university OR four (4) additional years of ISSO experience may be substituted for the degree
• DoD 8570 compliance with IAT Level I or higher

Responsibilities

• Implement, maintain, and monitor security controls for information systems
• Support system authorization activities and ongoing security compliance
• Utilize and manage security tools including XACTA, LATTEART, CIVET, Security Center, and SCANBOY
• Assess hardware and software security implementations
• Apply knowledge of communication protocols and encryption tools/techniques
• Collaborate with technical teams to identify, mitigate, and remediate security risks
• Ensure compliance with DoD and organizational cybersecurity requirements
