What You Will Do as a ISO Quality Coordinator The position plans, coordinates and participates in quality management system processes designed to support consistent customer satisfaction with established quality and ISO 9001 standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and some experience/exposure to quality, textile, or product design OR 3-5 years of experience in quality, textile, or product design.
  • Knowledge of quality management systems and processes.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, or technical procedures.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, work instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from leaders, employees, and customers.
  • Ability to lead teams in resolving problems in various situations with multiple departments.

Responsibilities

  • Acts as the lead facilitator for WWOF (Nashville based) quality management system (QMS) to meet ISO 9001 certification requirements.
  • Assists Quality Management with objectives and coordinates improvement activities in cooperation with other managers to maintain conformance and continuous improvement, ultimately maximizing customer satisfaction.
  • Assists all areas that are in, or interact with, the Nashville area QMS activities to ensure continuous improvement and control over process outputs.
  • Plans, promotes, organizes, and/or supports training activities, internal audits, internal auditor competency, document control, corrective actions, opportunities for improvements, and changes related to the QMS and ISO 9001.
  • May be required to write training documentation and work instructions for QMS processes.
  • Supports and facilitates reactions and responses to non-conformance reports and corrective action requests
  • Supports and facilitates the issuing and reviewing of Supplier Corrective Actions.
  • Trains, develops, and assists ISO 9001 representatives in meeting their objectives and responsibilities.
  • Facilitates the maintenance of our ISO 9001certification
  • Ensure the education of new hires and the on-going development of WWOF’s QMS
  • Compiles and executes bi-annual Management Review meeting with Senior Leadership Team, and monitors all follow up activities.
  • Provides first level technical support for Quality Management System software and performs System Administrator functions
  • Functions as primary contact for the ISO 9001 Registrar, maintaining communication, scheduling, and planning external audits, and responding to findings.
  • Travels to suppliers, facilities, and training as needed or required.
  • Supports the Quality Lab as needed in maintaining the ISO IEC 17025 accreditation.
  • Supports One West as needed in maintaining the ISO 9001 conformance.
  • Support other Quality Department team functions as needed.
  • External training required as soon as possible for ISO 9001 lead auditor.
