Job Description Summary: JOB SUMMARY Reports to IT Functional Leader and will have no direct reports. Business Analyst role is to elicit, analyze, specify, and validate the business needs of stakeholders, be they customers or end users. This includes leading interviews with stakeholders and gathering and compiling complex user requirements to understand the technology solutions they need. The Business Analyst will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help the business make good technology decisions and is able to translate complex information into an easily digestible format. The Portfolio Business Analyst within Solutions Delivery will: - Partner with service lines/ departments on roadmaps and intake - Own Discovery process, including understanding business requirements gathering through identifying necessary resources - Own Solutions Delivery tools and reporting for Discovery - Own successful transition from demand to project execution - Tracking project metrics for continuous improvement - Portfolio budget and resource planning as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • degree (or equivalent years of experience).
  • [3-5] years of experience in business analysis.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Visio, and Outlook.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
  • The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
  • Understanding of Application architectures
  • Understanding of SQL and data modeling
  • Experience in report and analytical requirements gathering

Responsibilities

  • Promote a collaborative team environment and provide mentorship to junior-level analysts.
  • Shape business requirements by making recommendations and suggesting alternatives to proposed solutions. Translate conceptual user requirements into clear, detailed functional requirements.
