About The Position

The IS Analyst provides technical expertise and support for clinical applications with a focus on oncology and infusion workflows. This role delivers day‑to-day application support, participates in project work, performs system build and maintenance, and collaborates closely with end users, vendors, and subject matter experts. The analyst ensures system reliability, accuracy, and alignment with clinical and business needs while adhering to established change control processes.

Responsibilities

  • Provides IT support for assigned applications and participates in both operational and project‑based work.
  • Responds to user issues, troubleshoots problems, and conducts end‑user training.
  • Collaborates with Subject Matter Experts to inform build decisions, system design, workflow optimization, and documentation standards.
  • Helps users develop and execute test plans to validate accuracy, integrity, interoperability, completeness, and expected system outcomes.
  • Develops system and programming specifications aligned with user and organizational needs.
  • Prepares and maintains technical documentation to support system operation, maintenance, and ongoing development.
  • Creates workflow diagrams, models, and procedures to support problem analysis and solution recommendations.
  • Modifies and configures features supplied by off‑the-shelf systems to meet clinical workflow requirements.
  • Works with third‑party vendors on technical requests, issues, or enhancement needs.
  • Understands and follows all change control documentation and governance processes.
  • Obtain certification in Willow Inpatient or EpicCare Ambulatory, certification in Epic Beacon Oncology , and certification in Epic Genomics.
  • Build, maintain, and optimize Epic oncology and infusion center department structures and workflows.
  • Support user security design, access audits, and role‑based permission management.
  • Configure and maintain workflows related to high-cost drug charging, coding, and related revenue‑cycle tasks.
  • Participate in system testing, integrated testing, upgrades, training, and reporting activities.
  • Complete other tasks, enhancements, and projects as assigned.
