About The Position

The Irrigation Technician is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the golf course and club. In addition, the position is also responsible for leading and supervising special maintenance and landscaping projects around the course and club.

Requirements

Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Problem solving and critical thinking skills.
At least 2 years’ experience in golf course maintenance, preferably at a resort golf facility.

Experience with Rainbird irrigation system.

Responsibilities

Repair all 1,200 irrigation heads, wiring, piping, satellites, pumps, valves, and trouble shooting.
Monitor pump stations daily.
Monitor daily water distribution on golf course.
Maintain and repair clubhouse lawn and landscape irrigation system.
Tracking lightning damage and adjusting irrigation head GPM output
Utilize use electronic wire locating devices to repair underground irrigation field wiring.
Other duties as assigned by the supervisor or needs of the club.
