A strong candidate will have a genuine desire to help others and be willing to provide customer service to Janney’s Financial Advisors and staff in the field. In addition to core daily responsibilities, an ideal candidate would also be able to run small projects, identify and implement process improvements, and have experience or interest in forms and/or process design.

Requirements

  • College degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated success with customer service.
  • Demonstrated success working on a team.
  • Strong eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively during high-volume times of the year.
  • Willingness to obtain FINRA Series 99 or Series 7 licenses.
  • Sense of ownership and accountability.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with form design, or Adobe LiveCycle preferred.
  • At least two years supporting IRAs and/or Qualified Retirement Plans a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Educate staff in field offices on retirement products over the phone.
  • Review retirement transactions for accuracy.
  • Conduct user testing for internal systems.
  • Work closely with teammates to share workload.
  • Review exception reports for adjustments or corrections.
  • Process advanced retirement transactions.
  • Settle deceased accounts and process payments to beneficiaries.
  • Collaborate effectively with other Operations teams to solve problems.
  • Lead and/or participate in small projects both within and outside of the team.
  • Perform all other duties assigned by the manager.
