About The Position

Greenberg Traurig (GT), a global law firm, has a dynamic full-time employment opportunity for a junior to mid-level Associate to work with our Intellectual Property Litigation Practice. The associate will have the opportunity to work with clients, large and small, from a variety of industries across the country, including interacting with GT attorneys across our global platform. The Boston office of Greenberg Traurig seeks an IP litigation associate with 2-4 years of experience to join our trade secret litigation practice. The ideal candidate will have experience in litigations involving trade secrets, patents, and other IP at a mid-size to large law firm. The practice is fast-paced and involves frequent urgent or emergency proceedings. Candidates must be capable of managing a complex docket and be willing to learn new technology or subject matter quickly.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in litigations involving trade secrets, patents, and other IP at a mid-size to large law firm.
  • Excellent academic credentials from a top-tier law school
  • Strong legal writing and analytical skills.
  • Admitted to the Massachusetts Bar or eligible for admission to the Massachusetts Bar.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in specialized areas (e.g. biology, chemistry, AI, or computer code)

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to all aspects of litigation in large matters, including research; drafting; ESI collection, review, and production; witness interviews; depositions; and trial.
  • Managing a complex docket
  • Willing to learn new technology or subject matter quickly.
