The Invoicing Specialist will be responsible for assisting in writing invoices for large company contracts, ensuring their accuracy, and sending them to clients in an efficient and timely manner.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • At least 2 years of experience in an Invoicing Specialist, Billing Specialist or similar role required.
  • Strong work ethic with a safety-first mindset.
  • Ability to work independently or part of a team while managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and oral skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent time management and proven to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient computer skills with multiple programs such as Excel, Word, SharePoint, Email, Adobe etc.
  • Outstanding customer service.
  • Good attitude and be a team player.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Prefer environmental services experience.

Responsibilities

  • Managing databases and payment systems.
  • Verifying client information.
  • Listing down the due amount and itemized account of goods and services.
  • Charging accurate tax.
  • Deducting discounts.
  • Creating invoice packages with supporting back up documentation, such as vendor bills, manifests, and spill reports.
  • Efficient filing and electronic filing.
  • Branch invoicing support.
  • Open Invoice reports with detailed notes.
  • May assist with other administrative activities as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
