The Investment Banking Director will manage complex M&A and strategic advisory engagements, guiding transactions from inception to completion while maintaining strong client relationships. Requirements

  • 8+ years of sell-side M&A advisory and investment banking experience, preferably in industrials or business services sectors.
  • Strong academic credentials from a top-tier institution.
  • Advanced financial modeling, analysis, and valuation skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication, with the ability to present complex concepts to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage and lead deal teams in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, self-starter, and team-oriented with strong business development capabilities.
  • Familiarity with financial data platforms such as S&P Capital IQ and online data rooms.
  • FINRA Series licenses or the ability to obtain required licenses.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day client relationships and oversee all aspects of deal execution, including coordination of deal teams.
  • Conduct and review financial due diligence, develop valuation models (DCF, LBO, comparables), and perform complex financial analyses.
  • Prepare and oversee pitchbooks, information memoranda, management presentations, and marketing materials.
  • Identify and engage prospective buyers or strategic partners, supporting all steps of transaction execution.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with current and potential clients.
  • Mentor and train junior bankers, contributing to team development and firm-building initiatives.
