Who we are seeking for this role: We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Investment Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This person will support Financial Advisors with client communications, portfolio administration and account management. Strong communication skills, accuracy and a proactive mindset are essential, as is a genuine interest in finance and client service. As an Investment Associate, you are responsible for: Assisting non-deposit Investment broker in the sales and service of alternative investment products and oversees a segment of clients. Assists with the sales of annuities, life insurance and mutual funds to clients, as needed. Provides administrative support to team.

Requirements

  • High School diploma, with some business-related college courses required.
  • One to three years financial industry related experience and Series 6 and 63 (or higher) and State Life & Health Insurance licenses are required.

Responsibilities

  • Accurate completion and processing of new account and servicing paperwork
  • Updates client database and files
  • Communicates with clients and advisors in a professional manner and is responsive to their needs
  • Oversees a segment of clients requiring ongoing support, identifying opportunities for additional products and services
  • Completes reports, as needed
  • Ensure company service standards are continually achieved in area of responsibility
  • Perform clerical and administrative duties to support the departments sales and service function
  • Address customer inquiries promptly, accurately, and professionally
  • Process customer files, general correspondence, and other related transactions
  • Appointment scheduling for brokers
  • Accurate processing of checks and securities
  • Facilitate reviews of current client accounts
  • Knowledge of both Osaic and Bank policies and procedures, as well of State and Federal laws and regulations
  • Responsible for compliance regulations related to this position and receiving appropriate training including but not limited to: Annually - Right to Financial Privacy Act H – Bank Protection Act Information Security Standards (GLB) (Including Data Protection Act) Reg. P – Privacy of Consumer Financial Information Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) USA Patriot Act Fair and Accurate Credit Transaction Act (FACTA) BB – Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) Biennially - FDIC Insurance Rules ADA Public Policy (Effective Communication for Individuals with Disabilities
