About The Position
Work directly with the high-pedigree cofounders to lead investment thesis build, research & execution within a well capitalized investment platform. Own material components of the deal cycle, driving rigor & pace to support an acquisitive & entrepreneurial team. Requirements
- Proven Deal Cycle Leadership: Track record of independently running diligence, thesis development, research, and operator outreach to drive smooth deal execution and timely investment decisions—critical for leading multiple closed acquisitions.
- Servant Leadership & Team Fit: Must embody the entrepreneurial spirit and collaborative mindset that aligns with a culture of servant leadership and a can-do attitude, ensuring seamless integration with the team.
- High-Quality Analytical Rigor: Consistently delivering top-tier research, financial models, and investment analysis to support partners with precise diligence and value-creation planning for strategic investment decisions.
Responsibilities
- Lead investment diligence: Manage end-to-end diligence processes including financial modeling, valuation, and operational analysis to support platform and add-on acquisitions.
- Research and evaluate opportunities: Conduct market research, industry analysis, and primary research calls to identify and assess new investment prospects.
- Transaction management: Coordinate deal execution activities such as managing data rooms, preparing investment memoranda, and liaising with external advisors.
- Portfolio support: Assist with value creation initiatives and strategic projects for existing portfolio companies, dedicating about 30% of time to portfolio maintenance.
- Collaborate with leadership: Work closely with partners to develop investment theses, refine strategies, and drive high-quality deliverables with a servant-leader mindset.
