Requirements

  • Strong Underwriting & Financial Modeling Skills: Deep expertise in 3-statement modeling and levered returns analysis, essential for a PE-style underwriting approach focused on long-term hold strategies.
  • Experience in Private Equity, Investment Banking, Corporate Development, or Other Relevant Roles: Understanding of operational cash flow dynamics and credit analysis.
  • Ability to Collaborate Across Investment & Legal Teams: Ability to partner with BD, legal, and asset management teams to underwrite deals and drive them through to close.

Responsibilities

  • Research & Analysis: Conduct independent market and asset research leveraging platforms like Capital IQ, CoStar, and Bloomberg to develop and maintain integrated financial models and databases that drive investment strategy.
  • Transaction Evaluation: Execute initial quantitative and qualitative assessments of prospective real estate investments, crafting pricing and term recommendations to aid deal sourcing and client presentations.
  • Underwriting & Due Diligence: Lead end-to-end underwriting processes encompassing financial, credit, and real estate analysis, including site visits and management interviews, to build investment theses and prepare materials for investment committees.
  • Presentation & Communication: Create concise, data-backed presentations that summarize deal terms, asset performance, and market insights for senior leadership and investment decision makers.
  • Asset Management Support: Perform ongoing portfolio monitoring and financial reviews of current investments, analyzing tenant performance, risk factors, and returns to support asset management and executive teams in strategic decision making.
