About The Position

RFS Technologies is a worldwide leader in the design and manufacturing of RF cables and end-to-end RF solutions for wireless and broadcast networks. We offer a wide range of products including In-Building Communications Solutions (DragonSkin, Plenum rated cables, Couplers, Splitters, Tappers, Loads, Antennas, and Accessories), Radiating Cables (Smooth Wall, Corrugated Wall, Waveguides, and Accessories), Power and Fiber solutions (fiber or power only risers & jumpers, fire and power combinations and accessories). POSITION SUMMARY This role will lead the end-to-end inventory control processes for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods within a manufacturing environment and ensures inventory accuracy, supports production flow, and drives efficiency through strong collaboration with internal teams and third-party warehouses to meet customer delivery requirements. This full-time, exempt position reporting to the Associate Director, Supply Chain, is on-site in our Meriden, CT facility.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing workflows, production planning, and MRP
  • Leadership experience with lean manufacturing, 5S, or Six Sigma methodologies
  • Data driven problem-solving skills and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in warehouse management and logistics within a manufacturing setting
  • Experience working with third-party logistics and external warehouses

  • Proficiency in SAP preferred

Responsibilities

  • Design company-wide inventory strategy that balances customer OTD and Inventory level
  • Lead the design and implementation of robust inventory management procedures, including receiving, storage, batch-lot traceability, tracking and fulfillment
  • Develop cross-training plans for key inventory control functions to ensure continuity and support across all shifts
  • Build site-wide expertise in inventory practices, serving as a key partner to production, procurement, and quality teams to align inventory with manufacturing schedules and resolve issues affecting accuracy and flow
  • Collaborate closely with production planners to ensure materials are staged and available to meet scheduled production runs, minimizing downtime and material shortages
  • Own and manage inventory control KPIs to ensure optimal stock levels, reduce waste, and drive efficiency
  • Investigate and resolve stock variances, depletions, and material flow issues; act as the primary contact for inventory-related inquiries and escalations
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits; investigate and reconcile discrepancies, including those occurring at 3rd party warehouses
  • Maintain accurate bin and storage location, optimize space utilization and support streamlined picking and replenishment processes and ensure real-time data entry to generate reports for decision-making
  • Monitor and manage scrap, expired, and obsolete inventory, coordinating with operations, quality, and finance to ensure proper disposition and reporting
  • Support initiatives for lean inventory management, 5S practices, and production efficiency
  • Contribute to team goals by performing other related duties as needed or requested
