About The Position

As the Inventory Solutions Technical Specialist, you’ll serve as the technical owner and subject-matter expert for Nelson-Jameson’s vendor-managed inventory (VMI) and industrial vending programs. This role involves travel to customer locations across the U.S. (about 25%), providing on-site support for system installations, equipment setup, troubleshooting, and major project rollouts. The remainder of your time will focus on remote system management, process improvement, and collaboration with internal teams to drive performance and customer satisfaction. This role is ideal for someone who’s resourceful, customer-focused, and detail-driven—a self-starter who enjoys solving problems, optimizing technology, and seeing their work directly improve operations in real-world environments. You’ll combine technical know-how with strong communication skills and a service mindset to deliver the exceptional support that Nelson-Jameson is known for.
