This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities. The Inventory Warehouse Associate is responsible for performing a variety of warehouse functions, including receiving, storing, handling, and shipping products and materials. This role requires accurate inventory management, safe operation of equipment, and maintaining an organized and efficient warehouse environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of high school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. unassisted
  • Lifting, standing, climbing, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, stretching, and carrying are generally required to perform the functions of this position
  • Willingness to utilize powered lifting equipment, jib, crane or hoists
  • Must be open to working all required shift hours, including overtime and weekends, as needed

Nice To Haves

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Strong computer skills, familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc
  • Experience with MRP/ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, etc)
  • Prior experience within the aerospace, automotive, semiconductor, or electronic industries
  • Experience in organizing files and documents

Responsibilities

  • Receive, unload, and process incoming shipments accurately
  • Perform cycle counts and physical inventory audits
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS)
  • Identify and report inventory discrepancies, damages, or shortages
  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment
  • Organize and store products in designated locations
  • Safely operate PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, and order pickers
  • Load and unload trucks and containers
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations
  • Assist with receiving inspections and quality checks
  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals
