Requirements

  • Associate Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an Inventory Control, ICQA, or similar role within a warehouse or distribution environment
  • Strong working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), RF scanning, and inventory control processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills, including ability to interpret data, perform calculations involving rates, ratios, and percentages, and analyze trends
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence across teams
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast paced, high-volume environment.

  • Ability to lead and train inventory control team on best practices and systems usage
  • Experience with barcode scanning, RFID technology, and advanced inventory management software
  • Ability to develop and execute performance metrics to assess the efficiency and effectiveness of inventory control processes

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the inventory control team, ensuring consistent execution of cycle counts, audits, and discrepancy investigations.
  • Drive a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement across the operation.
  • Partner with Inbound, Outbound, and Operations leadership to identify risks, resolve defects, and maintain inventory integrity.
  • Oversee daily ICQA processes including stock level management, cycle count planning, reconciliation, and reporting.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory data within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Perform and lead root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Maintain a facility with strong organization, labeling, and material flow discipline.
  • Promote a safe working environment and ensure compliance with all safety standards, including hazmat handling procedures.
  • Monitor daily adherence to safety protocols and escalate risks promptly.
  • Support coordination of floor space utilization and workflow optimization to handle high a volume inventory movement.
  • Assist in timely coordination and resolution of OS&D (Overages, Shortages, and Damages) claims.
