This position is responsible for receiving all Material Handling and Production related supplies. The role involves inspecting and maintaining accurate records of all inbound and outbound materials through the box shop. Key duties include receiving approved purchase orders and bills of lading, ensuring all inbound materials are authorized, and preparing receiving manifests. The Inventory Person will also ensure materials are properly identified, inspect them according to supervisor specifications, and report any defective materials. Additional responsibilities include unloading and loading materials, preparing manifests for outbound materials, assisting with daily and weekly inventory counts, generating purchase orders and requisitions as directed by management, placing orders with vendors, and reconciling discrepancies with the accounting department. The role also involves assisting the supervisor with other assigned duties.
