About The Position
This position is responsible for operating machinery to ensure the continuous flow of product through the production process. The role involves ensuring proper ingredients and supplies are used on the production line, monitoring and adjusting machine settings as needed, and notifying the supervisor if machines require maintenance. The Machine Operator must also maintain a safe work environment and adhere to all Tyson policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Must have 1 year of work experience as an operative
- If previously employed at Tyson, there’s a 365-day waiting period before you can reapply
- Can apply if you’ve worked at Tyson no more than three times
- If you had a failed drug screen, you must wait 6 months before reapplying
- Certain roles at Tyson require background checks
