About The Position

Lead and coordinate the team of Inventory Administrators within the division, ensuring proper implementation of policies, processes, and controls that guarantee the reliability and efficiency of inventory management across all plants. The Inventory Manager serves as a technical leader and regional coordinator of the inventory management process, promoting standardization, operational control, and alignment with Procurement, PYN CoE, and Operations objectives. While the role may participate in plant operational meetings when needed, its main function is to ensure that Inventory Administrators properly represent the Procurement area at each site, providing guidance, support, and follow-up.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial inventory administration or supervision.
  • Previous experience leading teams or processes in industrial plants.
  • Advanced knowledge of SAP (MM, PM, FI) and analytical tools.
  • Leadership, analytical, and effective communication skills across organizational levels.
  • Advanced knowledge of industrial inventory management (MRO)
  • Analytical capability and mastery of logistics indicators
  • Technical leadership and coordination of multidisciplinary teams
  • Functional knowledge of SAP (MM, PM, FI) and Coupa, CAPEX & WBS
  • Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration
  • Focus on compliance, internal control, and continuous improvement
  • Operational planning and analytical skills

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and supervise the performance of Inventory Administrators assigned to plants within the division.
  • Ensure proper implementation and compliance with inventory management policies and procedures.
  • Monitor regional inventory performance indicators (KPIs): levels, coverage, turnover, obsolescence, and accuracy.
  • Analyze deviations and drive corrective and preventive actions to ensure inventory reliability.
  • Coordinate with PYN CoE on the application of policies, reports, and process improvements defined by the Process Owner for Inventory Management.
  • Review and consolidate monthly inventory performance reports and propose optimization actions.
  • Participate in operational meetings or audits when needed to reinforce control or performance issues.
  • Promote training and technical development of Inventory Administrators.
  • Ensure effective communication between plants, Operations, Maintenance, TechPro, and Finance.
  • Collaborate with the Division Procurement Manager in planning, tracking initiatives, and meeting regional inventory process goals.
