Requirements

High School Diploma/GED is required
Successfully complete MVR, background check, and pre-employment drug test.
Valid driver's license
Must have high level organizational skills
Previous automotive/inventory experience in dealership setting

Responsibilities

CHECK IN NEW VEHICLES THAT ARRIVE ON TRUCKS
Check for damage, dents, scratches, etc.
If there is anything major, the driver needs to add it on the bill of lading before you sign
PROCESS TRADE IN VEHICLES TO GO INTO SERVICE
Create folders, new key tags, and print Carfax and TIS (Dealer Daily service portal) info
Yellow tags for new cars, red tags for preowned cars, blue tags for sprinters
Fill out recall disclosure for non-MB vehicles if there is an open recall
If it is a safety risk or fire hazard recall, must get completed before selling
PROCESS WE OWES FROM SALES DEALS
Get scheduled, order parts (if needed), take care of customer before, during and after process, get salesperson to help if needed
Create a calendar date for when the customer is scheduled and invite service advisors and managers, salesperson, sales managers (and Dennis if he’s involved) so everyone is on the same page
MANAGE SALES PORTERS
Create schedule, make sure they’re doing tasks daily
Make sure all vehicles in Privacy4Cars get the data removed and processed through the system correctly
Download the app and have Josh S. contact them to get you a log in
DO WEEKLY AUDITS ON KEYS, FOLDERS, AND VEHICLES
Make sure all main and spare keys are accounted for
Make sure every preowned retail unit has a shuck (yellow folder) with the trade form, services completed, and spare if applicable
Make sure every front-line unit has the two preowned stickers on the side window, new vehicles have the Monroney/addendum on the dashboard visible
CREATE ADDENDUMS FOR THE NEW CAR MONRONIES AND LAMINATE THEM TOGETHER
Make sure every new, preowned, and service loaner has a stock # sticker on the windshield
Make sure all MBCPO and CCPO units have accurate signage on them
CCPO have the small triangle in the top right corner of the windshield
MBCPO has a windshield sticker, sticker on passenger side front window, pillar sticker facing out on driver front body frame, and the MBCPO label from Dealer Daily
ORDER ITEMS OFF AMERICAN BUSINESS
Order Cavender plate frames and inserts, MBCPO material, Cavender CPO stickers, and preowned car folders when low
