About The Position

L3Harris Corporation is seeking an Inventory Management Support, Level C to assist the MET Depot. This is an opportunity to take on unique challenges, expand your skills and experience, and contribute to mission critical systems solutions that help to grow our Broadband Communication Systems sector. Essential Functions: Moving and positioning systems for shipping using a forklift Conduct periodic physical inventory counts and reconcile with system records Communicate effectively with team members and other departments regarding inventory status and issues. Provide support during audits and inventory-related projects. Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records in the inventory management system. Processing part returns for disposition and quality inspection Creating non-compliance reports Prepare shipping requests for customer part orders Receiving parts into depot process incoming/outgoing parts to/from the depot and ensure timely and accurate fulfillment.

Requirements

  • Requires fully proficient job knowledge/skills.
  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
  • Ability to generate and analyze inventory reports and data.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with various departments.
  • Willingness to work in a warehouse or storage environment, which may require standing for long periods.

Nice To Haves

  • Forklift certification
  • Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., Sunflower) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Certification in inventory management, such as Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), is a plus.
