About The Position

Support warehouse operations with product put-away, cycle counting, audits, and movement of equipment/materials across campus Assist with recycling efforts of metal and e-waste Provide support to transportation Ability to handle items (up to 35 pounds) utilizing proper lifting techniques and material handling aids (e.g. pallet jacks, height adjustable carts, etc.) May operate a forklift upon receipt of internal certification Drive a straight truck making deliveries and pick-ups on campus as well as to local suppliers as required Occasional inter and intra state pickups and/or deliveries Ability to safely load and secure highly valuable, sensitive parts/material/equipment Ability to obtain US Government Top Secret security clearance

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience; Or, 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience
  • Must possess a CDL-B license (CDL-A preferred)

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of safe material handling practices and ability to maintain compliance with L3Harris specific Environment Health and Safety policy/procedure regarding material handling
  • Familiar with dock operations with ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Aptitude to learn various software applications
  • Clean drivers license with a minimum of three years’ driving experience
  • Able to obtain DOD Top Secret clearance
  • Licensed to operate forklift and crane preferred
  • Experience working in a warehouse and/or production environment
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiar with MS Office applications
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy
  • HazMat license endorsement preferred
  • Familiar with loading (strapping/tarping) flatbeds
