About The Position

Inventory Control Specialist: Off-Shift Position Summary: The Inventory Control Specialist will maintain the organizations inventory and supplies used in the Operation while maintaining accurate record of all procurements. Essential Functions: Maintain consistent stock of inventory, ordering new stock up to pre-authorized limits as inventory dwindles. Responsible for supplying all plant employees with the required supplies. Assess inventory reports and order patterns to identify items in need of automatic, recurring delivery. Will gather and build supply orders for other facilities. Responsible for cycle counts of supply store items in order to track inventory. Will maintain supply store inventory levels and replenish storage areas as needed. Coordinate with delivery drivers on incoming shipments. Work closely with Purchasing department to maintain proper supply levels and coordinate supplier lists. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Problem solving and ability to coordination inventory control program.
• Demonstrated ability to work within plans set forth by Purchasing and Operations.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities and easily adapt to changing situations and priorities.
• Computer skills including spreadsheet and production planning and tracking applications.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Prefer at least 1 year of inventory control, warehouse or supply store experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse facility.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
