About The Position

Maybury Material Handling is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory Control Specialist to join our Parts Department. This role is critical to maintaining accurate inventory levels, processing returns, and supporting our service operations. Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum of 1 year of related experience in inventory control or parts management.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet applications.
Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

Verify all outgoing parts and consignment orders for accuracy.
Conduct daily cycle counts as well as annual inventories of parts and service vans
Analyze inventory reports and recommend adjustments to optimize stock levels.
Create and manage new service van inventories and process returns.
Maintain accurate part descriptions, locations, and labeling systems.
Monitor and replenish shipping supplies.
Respond to inquiries regarding inventory and investigate discrepancies.
Process vendor returns and coordinate battery core returns.
Identify and manage obsolete, scrap, and used parts inventory.
Assist with receiving and storing incoming shipments within 24 hours.
Coordinate with shippers and internal teams to resolve issues with received parts.
Support recycling and disposal efforts for outdated materials.
Install consignment cabinets at customer sites and provide usage training.
