About The Position

We are seeking an Inventory Specialist who will report into the Inventory Control Manager. This role is responsible for all aspects of cycle counting and physical inventory audits for brick and mortar locations. This role will be expected to facilitate and analyze counts with the goal of keeping inventory accurate, flagging patterns of potential loss, and reporting this to management. Assist with day to day HQ retail operational activities to align on projects and expectations for retail teams downstream Frequent travel, up to 75% of the time, is required to all locations according to a planned schedule.

Requirements

  • 6+ months in a customer facing role.
  • 1+ year in a retail environment.
  • 1+ year in an apparel operations role.
  • Thorough communication with customers, peers, and Direct-Report(s)
  • Efficient time management skills.

  • Ability to manage/oversee multiple projects at once
  • Ability to lift and move 25lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting Inventory Counts
  • Conduct in person cycle counts at brick and mortar locations
  • Traveling schedule pre-determined for fiscal year with goal of doing daily in person cycle counts. Travel will be required to all locations based on a proposed cadence.
  • Review and adjust cycle count results in internal systems based on provided data and BOH transaction research.
  • Analyze inaccuracies and diagnose potential causes.
  • Build reports to track progress of all scheduled cycle counts.
  • Recap results and report to management.
  • Store Conducted Inventory Oversight
  • Oversee scheduling of all stores conducted cycle counts across all retail doors and retail warehousing.
  • Review interdepartmentally and with the buying leads to determine high risk brands/styles.
  • Review and adjust cycle count results in internal systems based on provided data and BOH transaction research.
  • Analyze inaccuracies and diagnose potential causes.
  • Build reports to track progress of all scheduled cycle counts.
  • Recap results and report to management.
  • Physical Inventory
  • Assist in annual execution and reconciliation of physical inventory.

  • Reviewing & processing supply counts to ensure accurate on hand of daily consumables
  • Approve and review pending tasks & authorizations
