About The Position

OPEX Corporation is looking to hire a full time Inventory Control Specialist who is able to work in our 180,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility in Pennsauken, NJ. The worker must be able to commit to a full time schedule while working during our first shift from 5:45am to 2:00pm. The employee will be responsible for counting and reconciling inventory part counts. This will entail but not limited to, researching, investigating, and asking key people in the search for an accurate count. Also tallying up counts and updating our operating system. Requirements

  • Previous inventory experience is required
  • Strong organizational and computer skills
  • Must have strong math skills
  • Must have strong communication skills, written and verbal

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with parts picking and/or cycle counting is strongly preferred
  • Warehouse Management System experience is helpful (Oracle knowledge is a plus)
  • Material handling equipment operation experience is strongly preferred, but we will train the right individual to operate our equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain databases for Quality inspections and work flows
  • Work alongside the manufacturing and production staff, maintaining open communication
  • Responsible for counting and picking parts
  • Perform cycle counting to ensure inventory accuracy
  • Maintain and update inventory in ERP system
  • Record and reconcile inventory count discrepancies
  • Other duties as assigned
