We are seeking an Inventory Control Manager at our Distribution Center who will be responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence across warehouse and distribution operations. The distribution center operates within a highly automated environment supported by multiple integrated software systems that manage and control the transactional flow of inventory. Your leadership will directly support supply continuity, financial stewardship, and patient safety. This position will work onsite at our plant in Memphis, TN.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, or supply chain within a regulated manufacturing environment OR an advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years' relevant experience

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, or highly regulated manufacturing
  • Strong knowledge of FDA 21 CFR Part 820, ISO 13485, and traceability requirements
  • SAP or similar ERP/WMS expertise
  • Experience managing cycle count programs and physical inventories
  • Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement certification
  • Strong financial acumen related to inventory valuation, reserves, operational budgeting, and cost control
  • APICS/ASCM certification (CPIM, CSCP)
  • For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee daily warehouse Inventory Control activities interfacing with operations leadership in a complex and high-volume shipping, receiving, and material handling environment.
  • Ensure accurate receipt, verification, storage, and shipment of raw materials, components, finished goods, and capital equipment.
  • Oversee system-based tracking, logging, and reporting of inventory movements using ERP/WMS platforms (e.g., SAP).
  • Establish and maintain rigorous inventory control practices, including cycle counting, reconciliation, and discrepancy resolution.
  • Ensure full compliance with FDA, ISO 13485, and internal quality system requirements, including lot/serial traceability, documentation accuracy, and audit readiness.
  • Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for inventory variances, transaction errors, and process gaps.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Supply Planning, Quality, Finance, and Distribution to maintain healthy inventory levels and minimize excess, obsolete, or non-conforming material.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse productivity, accuracy, and cost efficiency.
  • Support Global Supply Chain standardization and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and monitor KPIs such as inventory accuracy, on-time shipment performance, shrinkage, aged inventory, and transaction error rates.
  • Lead, coach, and develop warehouse and inventory control personnel to build a high-performing, compliant organization.
