Advanced Blending Solutions LLC of Wallace, MI is looking to hire a full-time Inventory Assistant to join our production team. As an Inventory Assistant, you are at the hub of activity as you unload incoming materials and ensure accurate control and physical flow of materials, equipment, and supplies throughout the production stream. Organization and accuracy will be critical as you "pick" and issue supplies from inventory for various internal projects and external customer orders. Your day will include a variety of activities including physical lifting and moving of parts, operating vertical lifts to access supplies on multi-level racking as well as driving a forklift to move our heavier equipment. You will also assist with physical inventory counts to validate system accuracy. Computer work will be woven into your day as you account for items issued/returned from inventory utilizing the company's computer system as well as Microsoft Excel. As an Inventory Assistant at ABS, you are a key player in ensuring the efficiency and success of the company's production.

Requirements

  • Forklift and aerial lift experience required, must become certified within 30 days of employment
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally
  • Basic ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Knowledge of measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, and tape measures
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication
  • Highly organized with attention to detail; able to multi-task in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Strong mathematical ability
  • High school diploma or GED required
