Job Purpose Inventory Control Analyst responsibilities are those activities necessary to implement and follow inventory control practices and procedures. The analyst will produce reports on the current inventory status, investigate and resolve inventory control issues, and work with all users of the inventory to promote inventory integrity, high levels of accuracy, and maintain compliance. They also validate, investigate, and support root cause analysis on Order Adjustment Request and Temporarily Out of Stock quality occurrences.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma
• Minimum job experience of 1+ year in a distribution environment with increasing responsibilities to include specialized areas
• Knowledge of computerized inventory control (CICS & WMS) and distribution/warehouse operations
• Understanding of existing parts center processes and ability to assist management in creating work instructions
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Access)
• Working knowledge of Business Objects as it applies to WMS and LMS to produce all necessary reports to manage Parts Center activities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical issues
• Strong analytical skills and ability to understand complex data relationships
• Total quality mindset committed to achieving outstanding quality for our customers

• 1-2 Years of college or equivalent job-related experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory integrity by timely resolution of cycle counts and necessary adjustments. Resolution must be completed within the established targets
• TOS (Temporarily Out of Stock): Research TOS occurrences, determine root cause, maintain and adjust TOS avoidance strategy based on trend analysis to ensure TOS KPI meets or exceeds
• OAR (Order Adjustment Request): Create and resolve necessary cycle counts related to dealer and vendor OAR claims. Provide results in a timely manner using established reporting so claims can be approved or denied. Ensure all OAR feedback reports are completed and archived
• Complete and maintain all inventory-related documentation in accordance with PFP and record retention guidelines
• Support AHM and external audits for cycle count/inventory management requirements
• Identify deficiencies in procedures and processes that create inventory discrepancies. Report found issues to management to address, including flawed processes, training, or associate behaviors that contribute to inventory discrepancies
