What it's like to be a Inventory Control Assistant at Inventory Control Assistant As a Full Time Inventory Control Assistant at Viking Coca Cola, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our inventory systems. Your day will involve performing daily cycle counts across various product lines to ensure physical inventory aligns with our Warehouse Management System (WMS) and ERP records. You'll delve into discrepancies, conducting thorough investigations to pinpoint errors through root cause analysis and reviewing audit trails. Your keen attention to detail will be vital as you adjust inventory records, ensuring proper documentation and approvals for accuracy. Additionally, you'll participate in full physical inventories and uphold the proper labeling, storage, and handling of products, adhering to the First Expired, First Out (FEFO) method. Operating warehouse equipment safely, greeting truckers, and ensuring seamless product intake will make every day exciting, as you help harmonize our production data with actual inventory to maintain operational excellence.
