About The Position

Intramural Leads will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the department. Intramural Leads may also oversee assigned games to make sure the score and time are accurate and that rules are followed, and participant safety is maintained.

Requirements

Must be a currently enrolled California State University Fullerton student in good academic standing

Responsibilities

Effectively run leagues and tournaments when the Intramural Coordinator is unavailable
Assist the Intramural Coordinator in planning and executing staff trainings for each individual sport
Assist the Intramural Coordinator in completing performance evaluations of the Intramural Officials and Attendants.
Know, apply, and enforce rules for assigned sports/activities
Know the proper court/field set-up for each individual sport
Control disruptions when games are in progress
Review the Intramural Sports Safety Checklist before the start of activities and ensure that issues on the safety checklists are addressed.
Maintain a clean and safe environment for all participants
Provide basic first aid to Intramural participants in case of injury
Prepare accident and incident reports as required
Officiate or score-keep for assigned sports as needed
Assist in specific special events
Other duties as assigned
Establishes and maintains working relationships with various A.S. and University departments
Ensures all operations are conducted with safety of staff and customers as first priority, and in accordance with the Injury and Illness Prevention Plan and other safety policies.
Reports accidents to supervisor and reviews changes required to avoid reoccurrence.
Reports maintenance problems and/or broken and unsafe equipment to the appropriate party or supervisor immediately
