About The Position
Job Title: Interventional Radiologist Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Manteca, CA Service Setting: Outpatient Coverage Type: Clinical Only Coverage Period: July 2026 – Ongoing (1 week per month) Clinical Shift Schedule: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM COVERAGE DATES Starting July 2026 One week per month coverage Ongoing assignment PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: Adults Patient Volume/Census: Approximately 6–10 procedures per day Admissions: No Phone Consults: Yes Case Mix: Interventional Radiology – Dialysis access procedures FACILITY INFORMATION EMR System: Advanced MD Office Equipment Available: Interventional radiology equipment for dialysis access procedures Support Staff Available: Radiology technicians, nurses, and medical assistants Reason for Coverage: Supplemental coverage PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: No Credentialing Timeline: 24–48 hours COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered per client policy REQUIRED PROCEDURES Dialysis access procedures Catheter placement and management Declotting procedures Fistulagram (Fistulography) JOB REQUIREMENTS Licenses: Active California license required Board: Board Certification required DEA: Active DEA required Experience: Interventional radiology experience required Other Qualifications: Experience with outpatient IR procedures preferred DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Perform interventional radiology procedures in an outpatient setting Manage dialysis access and related vascular procedures Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure efficient patient care delivery Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system Ensure adherence to clinical and safety protocols
Requirements
- Active California license required
- Board Certification required
- Active DEA required
- Interventional radiology experience required
- Dialysis access procedures
- Catheter placement and management
- Declotting procedures
- Fistulagram (Fistulography)
