Our experienced, board-certified cardiologists use state-of-the-art diagnostic techniques to provide personalized treatment plans and a full spectrum of cardiac services.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Internal Medicine , Cardiology , and Interventional Cardiology
  • Licensed Medical Doctor in the State of Virginia (or eligibility)
  • Valid DEA controlled substance registration
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Collaborative approach with other physicians and care teams
  • Commitment to evidence-based medicine and patient-centered care

Responsibilities

  • Perform minimally invasive procedures to diagnose and treat cardiovascular conditions, including:
  • Cardiac catheterization
  • Percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) such as angioplasty and stent placement
  • Peripheral vascular interventions
  • Management of acute coronary syndromes
  • Interpret diagnostic tests including:
  • Stress testing
  • SPECT myocardial perfusion imaging
  • Echocardiography
  • Holter monitoring
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to manage complex cardiac cases
  • Provide inpatient and outpatient consultations
  • Participate in call coverage and follow-up care
  • Educate patients on risk factors , treatment options , and preventive strategies
