Ochsner Health Baton Rouge is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified INTERVENTIONAL CARDIOLOGIST to join its busy practice. Our group consists of 3 interventional cardiologist, 2 non-invasive cardiologist, and 4 Advanced Practitioners. POSITION HIGHLIGHTS: Rotating physicians who offer advanced heart failure, TAVR, vascular surgery, and electrophysiology. Currently, our physicians cover one hospital. Call is every 5th for everybody and for interventional it’s every 3rd call. We rotate cath lab days as well as weekly hospital coverage, and night-time and weekend call. Weekly hospital coverage includes rounding on the weekends. We rotate to 8 different satellite locations for clinical practice and each physician rotates to 3 locations for their practice. Our diagnostic department performs EKGs, Holter monitoring (24, 48-hour, 3-14 day and event monitoring up to 30 days), exercise stress tests (regular as well as nuclear), cardiac ultrasound (to include stress echo and dobutamine stress echo), vascular ultrasound.
