About The Position

The Interpreter/Cultural Mediator provides Spanish/English interpretation
between patients/families and hospital service providers. This position
coordinates the system of interpretation requests, arranges coverage of those
requests and maintains data on interpretation needs. The Interpreter/Cultural
Mediator assists hospital staff to develop cultural competency in working with
Latino populations.
