About The Position

Direction Home of Eastern Ohio periodically employs interns for specific periods when they are not in school. The following policy is to outline responsibilities and to ensure such student workers have a productive stay with the company. We will accommodate the numbers of hours you have the ability to work.

Requirements

• Student interns must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
• Student interns must hold a valid driver’s license and proof of automobile insurance with the ability to travel throughout our four-county service area (Ashtabula, Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana counties).

Responsibilities

• Adhering to DHEO’s company policies, procedures and code of conduct.
• Adhering to DHEO’s company policies governing the observation of confidentiality and the handling of confidential information.
• Assuming personal and professional responsibility for his/her actions and activities.
• Maintaining professional relationships with company employees, customers and so forth.
• Providing consistent and punctual submission of all work assignments, updating the supervisor with periodic progress reports.
