About The Position
An internship at DPAC provides engaging experiences for college students interested in a career that includes presenting and producing live entertainment events and or managing events at theaters and performing arts centers. Internships are offered in a variety of departments, including Audience Services, Business Management, Marketing, Sponsorship Sales, and Ticketing. Students in our program work alongside DPAC staff with hands -on training, valuable learning opportunities with real -world business skills, and the opportunity to participate in special projects that contribute to DPAC’s success and ranking as one of the top -five theaters in America.
Requirements
- For consideration, please submit a resume that highlights relevant experience, as well as a cover letter indicating interest.
- To qualify for a DPAC internship, a student’s internship must be tied to the intern’s formal education program by integrated coursework and the receipt of academic credit.
- Per the Fair Labor Standards Act, students in a DPAC internship are not classified as an employee and these opportunities are unpaid.
- Internships are available for the Fall, Spring, and Summer terms.
- For fall semester consideration, please apply between: May 1 - August 1
- For spring semester consideration, please apply between: October 1 and December 1
- For summer semester consideration, please apply between: February 15 - April 1
