About The Position

You are... a College or University student majoring in STEM fields with preference to Food Scientists, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or Physics majors, a forward-thinking individual looking for a unique opportunity to gain real world instrumentation experience, and a young professional who consistently displays a poised and respectful attitude in the workplace. This Internship Application will be for an 8-week, 40 hour a week program (minimum 300 hours) starting no earlier than May 15th, 2025 and no later than June 15th, 2025 working our food extrusion instruments. The Internship program will be in Ashland, VA and will give interested students the chance to learn more about analytical instrumentation and their applications, while gaining real world experience and being mentored by some of Anton Paar’s Engineers and Scientists. Upon completion of the program interns that receive a favorable evaluation may be offered the opportunity to continue working part-time at Anton Paar while they continue their studies as entry way to a full- time position upon graduation. The compensation will be $18 per hour for the duration of the internship. Requirements

  • Completion of your sophomore year of college including 2 semesters of Calculus and 2 semesters of science courses.
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written
  • Reliable transportation to the Ashland Office.

Nice To Haves

  • Hands on experience with analytical lab instrumentation is preferred
