About The Position
Our Internship Program is a 12-week, full-time opportunity (Monday–Friday) designed to enhance your classroom learning through real-world experience. As an intern with Standard Supply, you’ll gain hands-on exposure to branch operations, outside sales, and supply chain functions from the ground up. From warehouse operations and counter sales to safety and compliance practices, you’ll experience multiple facets of our business and develop skills that can ignite your career in wholesale distribution and beyond.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a related business degree.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Students must be entering their junior or senior year of college.
- Must be able to commute to the operation daily.
- Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Perform branch clerical and administrative duties.
- Support and participate in safety and compliance procedures.
- Assist with warehouse operations and inventory handling.
- Learn and contribute to counter sales duties, supporting customers directly.
- Partner with team members across operations, sales, and supply chain to understand business processes.
