About The Position

Fall 2026 Program Dates: Approximately September 2026 – December 2026 JOB SUMMARY: Intern will support the Location Based Entertainment team with market and competitive research and analysis. The internship will support identification of future business opportunities for the Location based Entertainment licensing business that includes exhibitions, touring shows, hotels, licensed parks, family entertainment centers, and other businesses globally.

Requirements

  • In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Sophomore or above.
  • Minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA is required.
  • A transcript is required upon application.
  • This internship will be an in-person experience, based in our Orlando offices.
  • Interns must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university, and must have a graduation date later than December 2026.
  • Universal Orlando does not provide housing.
  • Interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation.
  • All of our internships are paid

  • Preferred majors include: Economics, Finance, Marketing, Business Administration, or similar.
  • Preferred coursework completed: Marketing, Financial Analysis, Economics, or similar.

Responsibilities

  • Researches competitive Location Based Entertainment projects globally and compiles summaries to support expansion opportunity analysis.
  • Researches and compiles data on family entertainment destinations globally for potential target market expansion.
  • Compiles data on key industry players for potential licensing partners.
  • Creates simplified summaries on compiled data to communicate information and key points to leadership.
  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and Team Member involvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
