About The Position

The Intern will work closely and provide assistance to the Director and Sr. Manager for Entertainment Operations. This will include coordination of project documentation, project operations, and management for the assigned venues. Position includes day-to-day administrative and operational tasks. They will have knowledge of the assigned entertainment venues operations, talent, and tech, as well as the ability to address concerns and properly disseminate information to the appropriate management teams. In this position, our Entertainment Operations Intern will learn the overall prep and rehearsal process for opening a new venue at Universal Orlando Resort, learn the Entertainment strategy that takes place within each entertainment venue, and be exposed to systems and programs within Entertainment department.

Requirements

  • In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Sophomore or above.
  • Minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA is required.
  • A transcript is required upon application.
  • This internship will be an in-person experience, based in our Orlando offices.
  • Interns must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university and must have a graduation date later than December 2026.
  • Universal Orlando does not provide housing.
  • Interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation.
  • All of our internships are paid, and you may also qualify for housing financial assistance if applicable.
  • The Recruiter will provide specific eligibility details.

Responsibilities

  • Miscellaneous projects as needed based on business need including but not limited to data entry, inventory, data research, tablet maintenance, scanning paperwork, creating PDFs, planning preparation, and other tasks as dictated by business trends.
  • Assists with keeping track of meetings notes during operational daily scheduled meetings.
  • Assists with creating new hire packets for Entertainment staffing and performers.
  • Gathers and tracks information for rehearsals, scheduling, and project hand-offs to each entertainment venue.
  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and Team Member involvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
