About The Position

The Gaming & Esports Intern will assist the Gaming & Esports department across all our marketing initiatives with sponsored talent and content management. This person will provide valuable assistance with the day-to-day tasks that help the department achieve our marketing goals and help drive insights that factor into our overall strategy. This role requires someone with a heavy interest in gaming and esports in addition to a marketing skill set that may include, but not limited to, digital marketing, content planning, social media, and/or partnership/brand management.

Requirements

  • Related experience in digital marketing and gaming, experience with content development, or experience in talent management is a plus
  • Has experience or knowledge of marketing campaign design and performance
  • Knowledge of current digital media trends, emerging platforms, and popular game titles.
  • Must be focused, self-motivated, results-oriented, detail-obsessed and able to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work well and communicate within a team as well as externally.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Ability to think critically and creatively, and able to clearly present new ideas.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Gaming & Esports department on gathering and reporting data and analytics on sponsored talent
  • Work with Gaming & Esports managers to supply sponsored talent with product and marketing materials such as merchandise and digital branding to support our efforts.
  • Work with Gaming & Esports managers to track, document, and analyze contracted deliverables and the completion and compliance of promotional obligations
  • Assist the Marketing Manager – Gaming & Esports with cataloging, uploading, and tagging of gaming media
  • Work with the department, sponsored talent, and third-party vendors to ideate and execute content
  • Work cross-functionally with Brand and Digital teams on Gaming & Esports strategic initiatives
  • Construct analysis and trends for the gaming and live-streaming landscape
