About The Position

The Internet Sales Manager manages digital leads, driving online sales by converting inquiries into appointments and sales. Maintians a thorough knowledge of all dealership products and services. The manager oversees CRM tools, digital marketing, and team performance, ensuring quick, professional follow-up on leads.

Requirements

  • Previous automotive sales experience.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software.
  • Some secondary education preferred. High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Attends product and sales training as requested by sales manager.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Management: Promptly answering internet inquiries, managing BDC (Business Development Center) teams, and utilizing CRM systems to track leads. Understands the psychology of the internet customer drawing them into the store for a vehicle demonstration and to close the transaction.
  • Digital Presence: Managing website inventory, digital advertising, and social media content. Researches auto-buying services on the Internet and acts as liaison with any services the dealership uses to promote its site or advertise. Works with webmaster to update the website frequently to attract new and repeat visitors. May take photos of dealership inventory for use on the dealership site.
  • Sales & Service: Setting sales appointments, conducting needs analysis, providing product information, and ensuring high customer satisfaction (CSI) scores.
  • Sales Coaching: Training staff on internet best practices, communication skills, and digital sales tools.
  • Goal Setting: Forecasting sales goals and monitoring performance metrics.
