International Student Community Coordinator
About The Position
Providing support to incoming International Students transitions to campus by: Reaching out to newly admitted visa-approved students to assist with any questions and provide information Help direct admitted students to resources, such as how to find housing and how to travel to campus Create community with our International Students by: Maintaining an active group chat Inviting students to campus events Supervising the College Hall Community Space and Kitchen Assist with International Student Orientation in both Fall and Spring semesters Creating and providing workshops for new International Students Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Graduate Student Standing Required
- 3.67 Cumulative GPA or higher (or projected) and Good Academic Standing
- Proficiency in Office Suite and written Email Communication
- Should be punctual, have good time management, and strong problem solving skills

- Experience studying in a country other than their home country (whether currently or previously) highly preferred
