About The Position

As a program management specialist, you will implement and maintain organizational programs supporting Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and Security Cooperation research. You will work with program leadership to manage cost, schedule, and performance to expand U.S. Security Cooperation objectives. This involves using tools like Microsoft Excel for budget analysis and tracking, Microsoft Project for schedule management, Microsoft Word for document development, and Microsoft PowerPoint for presentations. The role emphasizes effective communication to ensure program goals are met and quality standards are achieved. You will have resources for continuous growth and the opportunity to influence a meaningful mission by developing and maintaining program strategy, helping Security Cooperation clients achieve FMS case goals and improve interoperability with international partners.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in engineering or science management, operations research analysis, or cost analysis
  • Experience with technical integration and Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (C4I) programs
  • Experience leading teams of five or more employees in a client service environment
  • Experience with strategic planning and managing program risks, issues, and opportunities
  • Experience using Microsoft Office programs, including PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel
  • Knowledge of financial analysis or cost analysis
  • Ability to be flexible, proactive, and adaptable to changing client priorities
  • Ability to manage and prioritize workload with minimal supervision
  • Ability to collaborate across multiple client organizations, partner nation organizations, and cross-functional teams
  • Ability to author briefings and formulate responses to data calls
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice To Haves

  • Experience tracking FMS cases through the development and execution process
  • Experience working with foreign stakeholders
  • Knowledge of the Defense Security Assistance Management System (DSAMS), Management Information System International Logistics (MISIL), Security Cooperation Information Portal (SCIP), or Information Warehouse (IW)
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Master's degree in Business or a technical field
  • Strategic Planning or Process Improvement Certification

Responsibilities
