About The Position

The International Broadcast Operations Coordinator will collaborate closely with the AVP and Manager of Broadcast Planning to support the daily delivery of NBA and affiliate league content to international partners. This role involves regular communication with global stakeholders to ensure successful content distribution and to strengthen ongoing relationships. The position may require travel to key NBA events as needed.

Requirements

1-3 years experience in broadcast operations and/or booking logistics
Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Broadcasting, Technology, or other related studies
In lieu of college degree, equivalent field experience will be considered
Proficient in Microsoft Office – particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Ability to work independently, and within a team atmosphere, while expressing creative ideas and solutions
Basic knowledge of broadcast operations, and broadcast production
Flexibility, well-organized, with attention to detail
Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills, with the ability to multi-task
Ability to effectively communicate with both internal and external personnel

Responsibilities

Create and distribute transmission advisories (satellite, fiber, SRT) based on games and authorization of NBATV for global partners.
Acquire and distribute games for global distribution on NBATV.
Maintain game, program and NBATV tracking manifests for NBA and WNBA content.
Administer routing entries in the booking scheduling system for international game feeds.
Gather and upload commercial formats and game timing updates to the global partner database.
Assist in the technical fee billing process for international partners, including transmission and on-site commentary.
Compile and distribute National and RSN Network commercial coordination lines.
Manage decoder authorizations for broadcast partners at the start of each season.
Coordinate international commentary positions with vendors, talent, and production assistants at NBA tentpole events.
Prioritize workload to meet all deadlines and operational requirements.
Work non-traditional hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed to support global operations.
Travel to remote event locations as required
