Purpose: The Internal Wholesaler Specialist plays a critical role in driving annuity sales growth through consultative support, proactive outreach, and deep product and market expertise. This hybrid role combines traditional internal wholesaling responsibilities with solution-based selling, competitive positioning, and strong advisor relationship management. Partnering closely with Regional Vice Presidents (RVPs), Internal Wholesalers (IWs), and sales leadership, this role serves as a trusted resource to financial professionals by uncovering opportunities, delivering actionable sales ideas, strengthening producer engagement, and supporting the growth of assigned territories. The position is focused on expanding Athene’s presence across independent broker-dealers and financial institutions, with an emphasis on Registered Index-Linked Annuities (RILAs), Fixed, and Fixed Indexed Annuities.
