As an Internal Communications Intern, your primary responsibility will be to assist the Internal Communications & Experience Manager in the day-to-day operations of employee communications and experience. This will include creating engaging written and visual content for various internal communication channels, including Intranet, newsletters, companywide updates, internal presentations, social media platforms, and print materials. You will also assist in the planning and execution of internal events, such as company-wide celebrations, annual team gatherings, community service opportunities, and more. This is a full-time summer internship; however, there is the option to join the team part-time immediately. Start date and weekly schedule are subject to your availability and ability to be in office for a portion of your weekly hours. As a job requirement, you should have a strong interest in pursuing a career in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Events, or Business and possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. You should be detail-oriented and a quick learner. This is an entry-level position with the possibility of growth within our organization. Requirements

  • Course(s) and/or experience in marketing, communications, public relations, events, and/ or graphic design

Responsibilities

  • Assist in creating, reviewing, and scheduling internal company communications and events; including, but not limited to company announcements, personnel and department updates, monthly newsletters, and all employee webinars.
  • Source and create company news posts to highlight team wins and other updates to be posted on the company Intranet homepage.
  • Assist in maintaining and auditing the company Intranet (SharePoint) to ensure up-to-date content across all pages.
  • Create internal collateral including flyers and graphics for our digital screens.
  • Assist in maintaining our company store and providing support to employees ordering from it.
  • Other communication projects as assigned
